Dr. Walker is one of New Mexico’s leading chile experts. Her work focuses on helping growers improve chile production through heat tolerance, increased yields, quality, sustainability and modern growing practices. She also worked in the chile pepper processing industry and now provides chile expertise throughout New Mexico, the U.S. and internationally.

Our farm offers a unique Green Chile U-Pick experience, inviting visitors into the fields to harvest their own chile and experience this New Mexico tradition firsthand. After the seminar, guests are welcome to head into the fields and pick their own fresh green chile!
