Sometimes outrageous with always hilarious, observational and storytelling comedy for all, you will fall in love with our MC Nina Gilligan.

A bolshier Mrs Merton, she’s not one to suffer fools lightly – so watch out for a razor sharp wit used at will. Nina recently won the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2021.

“A naturally funny comedian with a charming and genuinely likeable style.” John Thompson

Eshaan Akbar has appeared on shows such as Mock the Week, QI (becoming the first person of Bangladeshi heritage to appear on these shows), The Now Show, Frankie Boyle’s New World Order, The Big Asian Stand Up Night, Sunday Morning Live, A Pie and a Pint, and many more.

He can also be heard as the host of the But Where Are You Really From podcast on BBC Sounds and the European award winning Nine Twenty Nine podcast from Fiverr. He is also an accomplished radio presenter, having hosted his own shows on the BBC Asian Network and LoveSport, with many guest appearances across other networks.

He has performed three sell out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe – ‘Not for Prophet’ (2017), ‘Prophet Like it’s Hot’ (2018), and ‘Infidel-ity’ (2019) as well as sell out London transfers at the Soho Theatre. Eshaan has opened for Micky Flanagan, and has supported Dane Baptiste, Hal Cruttenden, Jan Ravens and Rory Bremner on tour.

Previously of Barclays Wealth and Merton Council, Eshaan holds a Masters in Global Governance and Public Policy and an undergraduate degree in Economics, Finance and Management. He has written articles for The Guardian, The Times, The Huffington Post, Happiful magazine and others. He is also a former Bollywood dance choreographer. Is there anything he can’t do? Yes. He can’t tie balloons once he’s blown them up. Which made his job as a children’s entertainer very short-lived.

“A story that’s likely to go far” Steve Bennett, Chortle

Award-winning stand up comedian Alun Cochrane has appeared on numerous TV shows including Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Russell Howard’s Good News, Mock The Week, Dave’s One Night Stand, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Have I Got News For You and 8 Out Of 10 Cats. He was featured as series regular ‘Sam’ in the Sky Living sitcom Trying Again, alongside Chris Addison and has appeared in Coronation Street, Boomers and Russell Howard’s Christmas film A Gert Lush Christmas.

Alun is the co-host of The Frank Skinner Show on Absolute, for which he received a 2012 Arqiva Award nomination for Best Newcomer. Alun wrote and starred in the Radio 4 series Alun Cochrane’s Fun House, offering listeners a room-by-room stand up tour of his home.

Alun is a master at observational comedy, an expert in storytelling and uniquely able to to gather material from anywhere he wanders in mind or body.

“Alun Cochrane’s ability to make the little things in life a comedy goldmine is phenomenal” Chortle

Seeta Wrightson, from Leeds, has been taking the comedy circuit by storm, using her own life experiences to talk about her dual heritage and finding the funny in navigating the world as a brown, mixed-race woman, who grew up with no money and lots of attitude.
