It’s Christmas!!!! And we’ve got the perfect night to kick start the festivities!
MC tonight is the fantastic Mike Wilkinson – one of our absolute faves. Charming, dry as a bone humour that will have you crying with laughter.
Since bursting onto the scene in March 2002, Jojo Sutherland has climbed the comedy ladder at an alarming pace. She regularly plays at comedy clubs around the UK and worldwide and is also in great demand for corporate gigs.
Jojo has supported many comics on tour including Jenny Éclair, US Comic Louis Ramey, 4 Poofs and a Piano and Tom Stade and has recently supported Jonathan Pi. She is also one of the few women to go to military bases to entertain the troops.
As a regular at The Stand Comedy Club in Edinburgh and Glasgow, she alternates between her regular set and compering. Her “healthy neglect” approach to parenting forms the backbone to her material interspersed with everyday grievances and motherly advice.
This charismatic mother of four goes to great lengths to glean material, the most extreme example being her starring role in Channel 4’s award winning series Wife Swap, an experience that not only features in her stand-up with hysterical results but has been made into a full length show called Wife Idol – The Rivals which she has written and performs with her own theatre company The One Handed Women and was a huge success at the Edinburgh Festival.
As an accomplished actress Jojo frequently appears on stage and undertakes work from a variety of fields including radio presenting and improvisational forum theatre, she has also appeared in several short films.

Andy Askins is a diminutive figure who gives off an air of vulnerability as he steps up to the microphone armed with a guitar and a cheeky grin.
Don’t be fooled…it’s just a guise which serves to heighten the impact of the killer lines that he delivers.
Andy is also a talented musician with a captivating voice and has re-written popular songs with a perverse twist to tremendous comic effect.
Since becoming a full time comedian back in 2005, Andy has built a reputation as a distinctive and original talent, and is now a highly sought-after headliner at all the major UK comedy clubs, as well as being a favourite amongst his peers. Following a successful debut in 2014, Andy was invited back to the prestigious Altitude Comedy Festival in Austria the following year, where he once again tore the roof off. He has previously worked with Michael McIntyre, Lee Evans, Jason Manford, Alan Carr, Jimmy Carr, Micky Flanagan, Harry Hill, Rhod Gilbert, Bill Bailey and Jack Dee, to name but a few. Andy performed his solo show “The Man With No Name” at the prestigious Edinburgh Festival for the first time in 2016 to rave reviews.
Andy has appeared on The John Bishop Show, alongside a stellar line-up from the worlds of comedy and music and has also recorded a set for Comedy Central’s The Comedy Store, and has performed on two series of Comedy Central’s The World Stands Up.
If you like a dry sense of humour then Andy is definitely your man.. dark material coupled with inventive and quirky songs all delivered in an inimitable modest and self-deprecating style.
