LIVE STAGE PRODUCTION
Discover the legend and lore surrounding gnomes. Hear about their good works for man and nature and how they outsmart the trolls . . . including the "Snotgurgle!"
GNOME GIFT SHOP
The gnomes have been busy crafting unique gnome-made treasures for a "wee price." You can also personalize a pin for your own gnome cap.
GNOME CAPS
Audience members can be gnomes, too! Stop by the Gnome Gift Shop to get your felt gnome cap ($3).
First year to the fest? Buy your own gnome cap to commemorate your first year. Each year AFTER, get a free tassel!
FREE CAP TASSELS
If you purchased a gnome cap at a previous festival, you get a FREE gnome cap tassel this year! Visit the Gnome Sewers by the fireplace. They'll sew a tassel onto your cap so you'll always know how many years you've been to the festival. Special tassels are given for the 10th, 20th, 30th and 40th years.
GNOME DOLL RAFFLE
One boy and one girl doll are lovingly soft-sculpted by Sally Susner. She adds details so no two dolls are the same from year to year. Each plush doll is signed in a special spot. Past winners often bring their dolls back to the fest to get tassels sewn on their little caps, too! The dolls will be raffled off at the close of Sunday's show. Winner need not be present. If you cannot attend the fest but would like to be in the raffle, contact the park (815-724-3761).
COOKIE FACTORY
Choose your favorite cookie variety plate (just $1) and hot cocoa.
TAVERN ON THE BRICKS
Swing by for soft drinks, also beer and wine (for gnommies 21+).
LIVE MUSIC
The lobby fills with sweet holiday melodies to lift your spirits.
Saturday - features flute instructor Cindy Butler and her students.
Sunday - features guitar instructor Tamara Orosco-Martinez and her students.
