Air spring systems in passenger cars: design, function and installation instructions

This course builds on the basic BILSTEIN suspension technology course. You will receive an overview of modern and promising suspension technology. You will learn about the different air spring systems. The focus is on design, function and workshop information using examples. This includes the different air spring systems such as air spring modules, single air springs and semi-active air springs. Using a vehicle as an example, we explain the most common errors that can occur when installing air springs.

BENEFIT OF THE TRAINING

After this training, you will be familiar with the design and function of the air spring systems. You will learn the most important information about correct installation. On this basis, you will be able to identify new business areas and better meet customer requirements. You will recognise suspension faults and install air spring systems according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
