The workshops offered have a strong focus on good scientific practice and transmitting in-depth understanding of the methodologies taught. It is not a pure clicking-instruction to quickly get some results. It adheres to high scientific standards and tries to follow a holistic approach by teaching image editing, processing and analysis also in relation to sample preparation or imaging setup.

The trainer:

• holds a PhD in Biology with broad experience in microscopy and image analysis since 2007.
  
• has experience with teaching image analysis topics since 2012
• taught in over 50 different research institutions over 360 workshops with over 5000 participants
• is author and maintainer of numerous widely used ImageJ/Fiji plugins for image editing and analysis
• works as full time ImageAnalyst consultant and develops customized software solutions for academia and industry
  
• is part of QUAREP-LiMi and ENRIO and promotes good scientific practice principles in image analysis
