Hand building ceramics class, beginners and intermediate

Spend four evenings learning new skills and meeting new people, in Birdsmouth Studio, Seven Sisters. Suitable for students hoping to get a real grasp on the basic techniques of ceramics as well as those wanting to return to build on those skills. You will be taught by Rose de Borman  who will guide you through a range of building and decoration techniques such as pinching, coiling and slab building. There will be demonstrations throughout the course and you will be encouraged to combine techniques to develop a range of personal pieces. You will leave with a good understanding of the possibilities of clay and a range of interesting pieces to take home.  Class sizes are limited and students are supported throughout the classes. All clay, firing and glazing is included in the price. Birdsmouth Studio is 8 minutes walk from Seven Sisters tube on the Victoria line, a few stops from Kings Cross or Highbury and Islington.

The class runs from 6.30- 8.30pm on the  6th 13th, 20th and 27th September
