Learn the basics of Tunisian crochet and start a colourful patchwork style blanket. As part of the workshop you will receive a copy of the Radiating Squares blanket pattern and 4 colours of DK wool or cotton yarn to create the first 4 blocks of the blanket. You will learn the differences between Tunisian crochet, standard crochet and knitting, how to cast on and work the Tunisian Simple Stitch, and simple decreasing.

Please bring a standard crochet hook, without an ergonomic handle, 2-3 sizes larger than you would normally use when crocheting with DK weight yarn (5.5mm or 6mm is a good place to start). Basic knowledge of how to chain and tension yarn is needed.
