Structure and outcomes In this workshop, we'll dive into the world of stranded colourwork knitting. We'll kick things off with a quick overview of its key features and float management techniques, then take a closer look at the ladderback jacquard method. To bring the theory to life, we'll work on a small swatch together. By the end of the session, you'll have a solid understanding of the ladderback jacquard method and how to use it in your future stranded projects. With this new skill, you'll be ready to take on a wider range of colourwork motifs.
Prerequisites and Materials You should have basic knitting skills, including knitting and purling and knit increases. While experience with colourwork is ideal, it's not necessary. You will need: ● fingering to DK weight yarn in two contrasting solid colours, ● needles suitable for the chosen yarn
