Spring Weekend Retreat at Adhisthana
Fri 25 - Sun 27 April
Gateways to Joyful Wisdom:
The four noble truths
with Abhayadhara and Balajit
The first teaching of the Buddha after his enlightenment was the Four Noble Truths. This teaching lies at the heart of Buddhism and is of central importance in our Dharma lives.
On this weekend, we will explore the teaching in a practical and experiential way. We will be looking at the relationship between craving, the concept of 'self', and suffering through short talks, simple exercises, and meditation. By bringing greater awareness to the ways in which we limit ourselves, innate joyful and compassionate wisdom can gradually arise.
This retreat is open to anyone who has been attending our centre or meditating regularly for a year or more.
Places will be limited - Reserve your spot now with a deposit. We will then contact you for the rest of the amount due.
Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
*** If you are unable to come on retreat without a single room due to a medical or mental health need, please contact alice.evans.bbc@gmail.com before booking online, to confirm availability of single rooms. ***
