Soulful Singing and Mantra

Soulful Singing and Mantra workshop with Mahasukha

This event will be part of our fundraising project, to repair and renovate the centre. Read more about the project 'polishing the jewel' here. We will split the donations with Mahasukha who makes a living from these workshops. Please give generously to support both Mahasukha and our fundraising project.

African, sacred, uplifting and fun harmony singing and mantra with the unique and inspiring Mahasukha. We’ll have a morning of glorious 4 part-harmony songs from around the world, with accompanying infectious djembe rhythms from Mahasukha, and we’ll chant a mantra or two in the afternoon. A joyful and meditative day guaranteed to put a smile on your face and uplift your heart and soul. Beautiful harmonies, beautifully simple, simply magic!

Mahasukha is a very experienced and popular singing and mantra teacher. He’s based in Brighton and leads uplifting Soulful Singing and Beauty of Mantra workshops, including every year at Buddhafield Festival. He also leads two weekend retreats a year at Alfoxton Park in Somerset. Mahasukha brings out the best in people with enthusiasm, sensitivity and encouragement, bringing them joy and inspiring them towards a deeper beauty.

This is a full day event, so please bring a veggie or vegan packed lunch for yourself. 
Sorry the workshop will not be suitable for under16s 
We kindly ask for no meat or fish products to be consumed in the Buddhist Centre. 
If you'd prefer to go into Moseley which is a 10 minute walk away there is a COOP, M&S, Subway and various other places to get take away food.
