SEND Resource Base for Catholic Schools

This course provides Catholic school leaders and staff with a dedicated opportunity to deepen their understanding of SEND provision through a Catholic lens, with a particular focus on the effective use and development of SEND resource bases. It supports schools to strengthen inclusive practice while ensuring that the dignity, worth and unique gifts of every child are recognised and nurtured.

Participants will explore best practice in SEND leadership, provision and partnership working, including how resource bases can enhance whole‑school inclusion, improve outcomes for pupils with additional needs and support families with care and compassion. The course will also consider the strategic, pastoral and operational dimensions of SEND, helping leaders to build confident, informed and sustainable provision.
