Young People’s Holiday led by the Bishop of Blackburn 2026

Please read below, before you book your ticket:

General information: If your son or daughter is in school Years 6 to 13 and would enjoy:

• A three night residential with Christians their own age
• A wide range of games and activities
• Outdoor water and land based activities
• Brisk and engaging Christian teaching
• All in the context of worship

Then this Young People’s Holiday could be just what they need!

We will be going to Borwick Hall in Carnforth, a beautiful location in deep countryside with great accommodation and food. Young people will stay in bedrooms in the Hall.

We will gather from 1.30pm (having had lunch) on Monday May 25th. The event will finish with a Eucharist to which parents and families are invited on Thursday 28th May, at 2.30pm, and this will be followed by cake.

The price is £100 per young person for three nights full board and activities. This price should not prevent any young people from attending and there will be a variety of ways of ensuring that all young people who wish to be there can attend, please contact Esther: operations@bishopofblackburn.org.uk if you need help in this way.

Young leader information: If your young person is in year 11, 12 or 13 they can apply to be a young leader, please follow these steps before booking your ticket:

In order to be a young leader, the young person will need to email Bishop Philip (via Esther: operations@bishopofblackburn.org.uk). The email should contain a paragraph explaining why they'd like to be a young leader and what they think they can bring to the role. Once this has been approved you will be given a special discount and can book their place at a reduced rate.
