Seasonal Tales from Around the World: Spring

Gather round, pull up a chair and join Blabbermouth Community Storytelling for an evening of traditional oral storytelling at Bradford on Tone Village Hall. 

Many of us feel increasingly disconnected from the natural world, our busy lives so full of distraction that it is easy to miss the tell-tale signs of the changing seasons. Blabbermouth's 'Seasonal Tales From Around The World' is a changing, periodic programme of performances, inviting you to pause and acknowledge the buds and the blossom, the fruit on the bough, the falling leaves.

This evening, archaeologist and storyteller Dan Broadbent, will be sharing folktales and legends from Scandinavia, Japan and beyond, which all, in their own varied ways, explore the themes of regeneration, resilience and renewal which mark the triumph over winter and the return of the sun.
