Building What Comes Next with PolicyLink & B Lab

Our current moment demands commitment, community, and acting in solidarity. Across the country, business leaders are navigating growing economic uncertainty, declining public trust, and political polarization. At the same time, people are looking for a future they can believe in—an economy that delivers opportunity, a democracy that works, and a future that people can depend on.

As we approach the 250th anniversary of the nation’s founding, we have an opportunity to ask not only what kind of future we want to build, but what role business leaders can play in helping shape it. B Corps have proven that responsible business leadership is possible and profitable. The challenge now is to make it the norm—to strengthen the market conditions, public expectations, and systems that allow it to flourish at scale.

Together with PolicyLink, the Groundwater Institute, the American Sustainable Business Alliance and White Men for Racial Justice, B Lab U.S. & Canada is helping to build a business coalition to meet this moment. As shared at the B Corp Champions Retreat 2026, this effort will align business leadership around shared principles, business practices, and collective action to finally realize a nation that works for all, and an economy built to deliver for all.
