[Portland, OR] B Lab Standards Workshop: Stakeholder Mapping

The B Lab Standards V2 represent a bold step forward for the B Corp movement. To support you on this journey, B Lab U.S. & Canada is excited to launch our B Lab Standards Workshop series – a collection of in-person workshops designed to dive deeper into high-impact requirements.

Specifically curated for medium-sized companies*, these workshops bring B Corps and values-aligned businesses into community to connect, learn, and build actionable strategies for the future.

August Session: Mapping Your Stakeholders

Stakeholder Governance has always been an essential component of B Corp certification, but the B Lab Standards V2 make this requirement even clearer and more essential. Developed by B Corp Evolution Marketing and co-facilitated by B Lab Staff, local consultants, and B Local Leaders, this workshop will guide participants through the stakeholder mapping process.

Attendees will walk away with an understanding of the Purpose and Stakeholder Governance Impact Topic, the importance of stakeholder mapping, and clear next steps for mapping and communicating with their stakeholders.

This session is designed to be approachable for those with a basic understanding of the B Lab Standards V2 – no need to be an expert! We recommend coming with a basic familiarity of the Purpose and Stakeholder Governance Impact Topic in order to get the most out of this session. (Not sure where to start? These workshops are hosted by B Lab U.S. & Canada in partnership with On Purpose OR. B Lab U.S. & Canada is part of the nonprofit ecosystem that runs the B Corp Certification. B Local communities are independently run organizations or committees, most commonly led by volunteer boards.

*Note: These workshops are designed around the requirements for medium-sized companies under the B Lab Standards V2. All-sized companies are welcome, but be aware that additional criteria may need to be met for companies that are large, XL, or XXL.
