Join us for a special screening of BLKNWS, a genre-bending film that blends history, science fiction, and fantasy to reimagine Blackness through a new lens. By weaving together historical figures with imaginative storytelling, the film challenges us to think beyond the limits of what we've inherited and invites us to envision new futures rooted in our collective imagination.

Following the screening, we'll have a community conversation to unpack the film's themes, reflect on its connections to the Black Radical Tradition, and explore how imagination itself can become a practice of liberation.

Whether you're drawn to history, speculative fiction, or simply love stories that make you see the world differently, this is an opportunity to experience a film that entertains, provokes, and inspires.

As we reflect on Black August traditions we also want to remember that expanding our imagination is essential to  expanding what's possible for our communities in the future.
