Tier 2 Dementia Training

Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is pleased to announce that we will be hosting Tier 2 Dementia Training, the nationally recognised level of dementia education for staff who provide regular direct care and support to people living with dementia.

This training builds the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care, promote wellbeing and independence, and work effectively with families and carers across health and social care settings.

Tier 2 is a two‑day course, and attendees must complete both days to receive their Certificate of Achievement. The training also counts as two full days of CPD and is recognised nationally.

Training dates:

• 7 & 8 September, 9am–5pm at City Campus

Who is it for?

This training is designed for health and social care staff, as well as anyone involved in supporting people living with dementia across the Black Country. It is open to colleagues outside the organisation, so please spread the word to anyone who may benefit.
