Lake Eden Campus – Black Mountain College was founded in 1933 as a radical experiment in education and community. In May 1941, following the end of their lease at the original BMC location at the Blue Ridge Assembly, the College moved its operations to Lake Eden, where it remained until its closing in 1957. This location saw the rise of the iconic Summer Institutes, the flourishing of the architecture and work program, and became a site of experimentation that indelibly impacted the world of arts, culture, education, and craft.
Ticket Price – The cost is $20/person, free for kids under 16. Payment must be made in advance to reserve a spot. Limited to 20 participants. Tickets are non-refundable.
