Experience Black Mountains College in person – join our Talgarth Open Day
Visiting us is an ideal way to get a real sense of the BMC community, teaching facilities, course details and beautiful location.
You can learn about all Talgarth-based courses, including our 12-month Diploma courses:
- Level 2 + 3 in Regenerative Horticulture
- Level 2 in Coppicing and Greenwood Trades
- Level 2 + 3 in Nature Restoration
- Level 3 (90-credit Diploma) in Forestry & Arboriculture
- Level 3 in Regenerative Horticulture
We'll also share our degree course: BA (Hons) Sustainable Futures: Arts, Ecology and Systems Change. If you're keen to study the degree, you can visit our Higher Education Open Day for a more focussed look at the degree programme.

This is a free event, everyone is welcome to join at no cost to you.
Scheduled Sessions:
10am – Welcome and refreshments
10.30am – 11.30am – Talks about Change in Practice, Regenerative Horticulture, Sustainable Coppicing and Greenwood Trades, Nature Restoration, Level 3 in Regenerative Horticulture, and Level 3 (90-credit Diploma) in Forestry & Arboriculture.
