In partnership with Welcome to our Woods
Learn about all Treherbert-based courses, including our one-year-long, fully funded diplomas, in partnership with NPTC Group of Colleges and Welcome to Our Woods*:
- Level 1 in Land-Based Studies
- Level 2 in Regenerative Horticulture
- Level 2 in Forestry and Arboriculture
- Level 2 in Nature Restoration

What to Expect
Our Open Day will provide you with an insight into what BMC & Welcome to our Woods can offer you, as well as giving you the opportunity to get involved in our interactive activities.
- Find out more about all of our courses and different locations
- Meet some of our friendly, knowledgeable staff
- Wander across to our woodland teaching space, and join us on a walk-through town up to the Penyrenglyn Project building to see the horticulture plot & orchard.
- Find out about any of our upcoming events within the community
- Have at hands-on activities such as woodworking (weather permitting)
- Refreshments available
This is a free event, everyone is welcome to join at no cost to you.
Scheduled Sessions:
11am – Welcome and refreshments
11.30am – 1pm – Learn about our Diplomas in Regenerative Horticulture, Forestry and Arboriculture, Nature Restoration and Land-Based Studies. Come and take part in our workshops delivered by our Tutors.
1.00pm – 2pm – Q+A’s and Tour
