The Black Solicitors Network (North) are delighted to invite you to a special panel event commemorating the UK’s Black History Month during October. This is an opportunity for us to celebrate the recent progress made in the diversity and inclusion space, and to reflect on the ongoing challenges with the hope of shaping a better future for all. To enable an open and wide ranging discussion, the event panel discussion will be held under the Chatham House Rules and will be followed by networking over drinks and canapes.
Our distinguished panel of speakers:
Sally Penni MBE (moderator): Founder and CEO of Women in the Law UK, Barrister at Kenworthy’s Chambers, TED talker, and host of the Talking Law Podcast
Cordella Bart-Stewart OBE: Co-founder and Director of The Black Solicitors Network, founder of Stewart and Co Solicitors, and Judge in the Immigration and Asylum Tribunal
Olivia Balson: Former Head of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer’s Global Legal Services Centre based in Manchester and now Global Head of Freshfield’s Client Delivery Group
Bridget Tatham: Partner at Browne Jacobson LLP and Chair of the African Caribbean Community Initiative
We hope you will join us for what promises to be an inspiring, thought provoking, and engaging conversation.
Many thanks to Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer for their generous support.
