Black Thrive Haringey, in partnership with JP's Legacy C.I.C, presents...

Let's Talk About... Joint Enterprise.

Saturday 18 July 2026
Age: 13+

Following the success of our Let's Talk About.. Trauma event, Black Thrive Haringey in partnership with JP's Legacy C.I.C is proud to present Let's Talk About.. Joint Enterprise as part of the Scaling Systems Programme—creating space for communities to come together, explore critical issues, and drive meaningful conversations for change.

Joint Enterprise remains one of the most controversial areas of the criminal justice system, with evidence showing that Black people are up to 16 times more likely to be prosecuted for murder or attempted murder under Joint Enterprise laws. The impact of these prosecutions extends far beyond the courtroom, affecting young people, families, and entire communities.

Join us for an engaging and thought-provoking event that aims to raise awareness, share lived experiences, and explore the realities and consequences of Joint Enterprise. Through powerful storytelling, expert insights, and open discussion, we will examine the human impact of these laws and the importance of education, prevention, and community action.

The event will feature:

• A powerful documentary screening exploring the impact of Joint Enterprise on families and communities.
• Live performances.
• Interactive discussions and audience Q&A.
• Expert insights from professionals.
• Opportunities to connect, learn, reflect, and contribute to the conversation.

Whether you are a young person, parent, carer, educator, youth worker, community organisation, professional, or local resident, this event offers an important opportunity to deepen your understanding, hear directly from those affected, and be part of a collective conversation about justice, awareness, and change.

Free to attend. Food and refreshments will be provided.

Register today to secure your free place and join us for a powerful event!

We look forward to welcoming you!!
