COMPOST Supperclub

Multiple dates and times BLEUR GALLERY & STUDIOS, W1U 7DF

For two nights only, join us for an exclusive dining experience in the intimate setting of an art gallery in a unique collaboration between Indian artist Rhea Gupte and Bengali chef Sohini Banerjee with table design by Amira Hashish.

As part of COMPOST exhibition presented by BLEUR Gallery & Studios, the duo transforms excess food waste into both captivating artworks and innovative dishes, creating an unforgettable multi-sensory journey.

Here, the dinner is a gallery, the gallery is a menu, and the exhibition is a supperclub. Every element — what guests see, hear, taste and feel — becomes part of the show. Each course responds to the exhibition’s themes of waste reduction and circularity, inviting guests to reimagine their relationship with what is often discarded. The table becomes a piece of edible artwork from which everyone can tuck into to create an all-encompassing immersive experience for the senses.

Limited seats available.

Reserve your place for a night at the intersection of food, art, and sustainability.

Included: Complimentary wine with the meal (non-alcoholic complimentary alternatives will also be available).

Presented by BLEUR, COMPOST showcases a large body of visually striking works by Indian artist Rhea Gupte, exhibited in the UK for the first time. Her 36-piece series explores ideas of waste, transformation, and renewal — themes that come alive not just on the walls, but on the dining table itself.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Inspired by her deeply rooted connection to the earth, Gupte describes her artistic process as an exploration of "the beauty within the discarded and reimagining waste in a way that is both visually captivating and thought-provoking." Drawing from her childhood in India, she highlights the paradox of growing up in a world where "systemic problems of our world impact how food is distributed and disposed."
