BLITZED IN BIRMINGHAM PRESENTS B-MOVIE AND GUESTS

BLITZED IN BIRMINGHAM is the first in a series of live music events around the country, brought to you by the partnership of Blitzed Magazine and AbNormal Productions in celebration of music derived from, and inspired by, the legendary Blitz Club in London. We bring you iconic artists of the New Romantic era, alongside emerging talents inspired by the Blitz spirit.

The artists appearing at the first event are:

B-MOVIE - headlining Blitzed in Birmingham. An exclusive performance in the West Midlands, you can experience the iconic goth-fuelled electro-rock band performing their previously ‘lost’ 1982 debut album Hidden Treasures with the classic singles ‘Nowhere Girl’, ‘Marilyn Dreams’ and ‘Remembrance Day’ and music from their fantastic catalogue. Finally unearthed from the vaults of Universal Music, see the songs performed how they were meant to be heard.

The Rude Awakening - paying homage to the coolest synthpop classics from the 1980s in their trademark style, from the likes of Japan, Ultravox, Visage, Gary Numan, Spandau Ballet, The Cure, OMD, Soft Cell, plus original songs.

HaHa Hats - Birmingham’s own alternative electro-funksters perform their eclectic ‘warped pop music’ with a sense of mischief.

Blitzed in Birmingham takes place on Saturday 13th September 2025 at iconic live music venue The Flapper, Kingston Row, Cambrian Wharf, Birmingham, B1 2NU

For the Blitzed in Birmingham event doors are at 7pm, but The Flapper is open from 2pm, so feel free to arrive early and take advantage of their fabulous food and drink offerings before the music starts. This is going to be a fantastic live music event.
