In 1978 Bruce Woolley co-wrote 'Video Killed the Radio Star' with Trevor Horn and Geoff Downes (who later became The Buggles). Bruce Woolley and the Camera Club recorded and released their version in 1979, before The Buggles achieved international success with the song in 1980. Woolley and Horn wrote Dollar's 'Hands Held in Black and White' and 'Mirror Mirror', and his song 'Slave the The Rhythm', originally intended for Frankie Goes to Hollywood, became a massive hit for Grace Jones. Singer, songwriter, musician and record producer Woolley has been creating magic in music studios for fifty years, writing and producing songs. His new wave band The Camera Club released their highly acclaimed debut album English Garden in 1979. They disbanded in 1983 after two years of continuous touring. Bruce Woolley and his band will be performing tracks from the acclaimed album English Garden album plus some surprises too.
