Embedding Human Sustainability in B Corp Organisations
Recent changes to the B Corp standards have seen it move from assessment to accountability.
Businessess must now show that workers are treated fairly, engaged meaningfully, and represented in governance.
Wellbeing is no longer a campaign calendar.
It’s part of your governance, purpose, and risk framework.
Under the new standards businesses must now:
- Map and prioritise stakeholders, including workers, suppliers, and local communities
- Develop policies that demonstrate how decisions consider the wellbeing and interests of those groups
- Ensure governance accountability, with wellbeing monitored and reported by the highest governing body
- Integrate wellbeing metrics into ESG and impact reporting cycles.
This is where most organisations get exposed
Policies are easy to write.
Human sustainability is not.
In this 45-minute workshop, Emily Pearson will show what it actually takes to deliver the standards - not just interpret them using the Human Sustainability Framework by the Wellbeing Lead Academy®
You’ll leave with
- A clear link between B Corp standards and strategic wellbeing
- 9 actions to strengthen impact and performance through the 9 Human Sustainability Disciplines
The event will also include time for networking and some light refreshments.
The cost of the ticket covers the event entrance plus 50% charitable donation towards the B Local Change Fund managed through the Point North Community Foundation.
