Bring-and-Share Community Lunch
Bring-and-Share Community Lunch
No agenda, no speakers. Just good conversation, shared food and time together. And a film.
To mark B Corp Month, we’re inviting the Surrey B Corp community to come together for a shared lunch.
Everyone brings something to eat – homemade or shop-bought – and shares it with others around the table. The aim is simple: spend time together, meet other B Corps, make new connections and have a proper conversation.
We’ll be gathering at Something Big’s office in Send. The space is relaxed and informal, with ample free parking.
Open to B Corps and purpose-led businesses in Surrey. Come with a colleague or on your own – either way, you’ll be very welcome.
We will be showing a short film during lunch and hope that this will stimulate some thoughtful conversations.
ACTionism is a film about the art of finding your people to take collective action. About collectively moving from passive consumers to active citizens. A story centered around doing things with others, not to others. You can watch the trailer to the film here: https://re-action-collective.org/actionism/
There's no charge to attend, but please book in advance so we know how many people to expect.
Optional walk beforehand
Hannah Keartland will be leading an optional walk along the River Wey beforehand (10.45am) where we will explore the question How Can Surrey B Corps Become a Genuine Force for Systems Change?
