Real conversations to help good businesses grow

Join B Local Surrey for a different kind of networking session, designed to help purpose-led businesses connect, collaborate and grow.

We know selling can feel hard, and networking can be a bit cringe. It’s easy to have lots of lovely conversations that never really turn into anything. But good businesses need good connections. If we want purpose-led businesses to thrive, we need to support each other in practical ways. That’s what this event is all about.

During the session, you’ll have the chance to:

• Share what you do, who you’re looking to connect with and where you need support
• Speak directly with a number of other businesses in a focused, small-group format
• Ask for introductions and explore opportunities to collaborate
• Take part in a facilitated sector discussion to exchange ideas, challenges and best practice

We’ll also create space to capture practical insights from across the room. In a dedicated knowledge-sharing area, we’ll gather tips, ideas and approaches to support business growth, which will be shared with attendees after the session.

This is a relaxed and supportive space, open to B Corps and purpose-led businesses in Surrey and beyond. Whether you’re looking to grow, collaborate or simply meet others on a similar path, you’ll be very welcome.

There’s no charge to attend, but please book in advance so we know numbers. 

Given the success of our bring-and-share lunch we'll be asking attendees to contribute to making the afternoon a success, so if you fancy baking a cake or some scones then you will be extra welcome 😋
