m(other) reveals an exhausted new mum at breaking point, dealing with motherhood with as much humour and grace as she can muster, with milk stains and worse plastered down her shirt. You either laugh or you cry and this woman is determined to do both!

Gina Williams is desperate to be Gina again. But what does that mean when you have just become a mother and you can’t find yourself in it all?

Gina isn’t the only woman of colour in the UK with a traumatic birth experience, she isn’t the only woman struggling to fit in with the expectations of what it is to be a mother, a career woman and a partner in this day and age. Gina finds herself in an inescapable chasm. But she is a woman determined to take up space for the first time.

m(other) fuses therapy, stand up and spoken word in a funny and moving exploration of what it is to be a mother.

Tiffany trained at RADA and m(other) was first performed at RADA Lab Works 2024, Coronet Theatre.

This event is for those aged 16+.

Part of the New Writing and Experimental Theatre Day. Go to all 4 performances, including Tethered Part 1: m(other), for the price of two! Tickets here.
