Introduction to Natural Weaving & Foraging Walk
Come and join us for a creative morning of natural weaving. Get creative and join us for a walk through the woods, gather and process natural materials, learn to make string and weave yourself a hanging for inside or outside.
We will be walking through Cat Lane Woods to collect our natural materials ad then heading back to Big Bloom, our community garden, to practice weaving and making string. Warm drinks and refreshments are provided, but please make sure you wrap up warm as this is an outdoor event.
This session will be facilitated by Charlie Hill - an outdoor artist and facilitator. Charlie has worked in communities across South Yorkshire for over 12 years and her work explores ways to connect to nature and each other through creativity and bushcraft.
We will be meeting at:
Heeley & Meersbrook Allotments

This event is for women and non-binary people. We are a trans-inclusive organisation.
This session is delivered by Bloom Sheffield, a community flower garden for women and non-binary people. This event is part of our Winter Wellbeing programme - a series of events aimed at keeping people well and keeping people connected during the colder months. Our programme is delivered with sliding scale payments, meaning that you pay what you can to attend. If you can pay the full price, you will be paying it forward and helping other people to attend and if you can only afford the minimum price, that's absolutely fine - no questions asked.
