Bloom X Clare Anderson Ceramics Pinch Pot Workshop
Join the Bloom team and ceramicist Clare Anderson for an evening of creativity. In this two hour workshop you will learn how to make a trio of pinch pots and will discover the therapeutic benefits of playing with clay. The workshop will guide you through a fundamental hand-building technique so you will end up with a trio of useful pots or small bowls. You will be able to be creative and make them unique by putting your own personal mark on your pieces.
At the end of the workshop you will have learnt new skills and created three unique pieces of pottery which will be fired, glazed and returned to you to proudly display in your home or gift to someone special.
No previous experience of working with clay is needed and everything you need will be provided on the workshop. Please be aware that when working with clay it is also best to have nails cut short and that working with clay can be messy and although it will wash out of clothing we advise you wear old clothes or bring an apron.
This event is for women and non-binary people. We are a trans-inclusive organisation.
This session is delivered by Bloom Sheffield, a community flower garden for women and non-binary people.
