It’s the perfect time of year for planting bare root roses, and we’d love for you to be part of it. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or have never picked up a trowel before, this is a welcoming opportunity to learn something new, meet others, and connect with nature in a gentle, meaningful way.

This is a relaxed and informal session – no pressure, no prior knowledge needed – just a willingness to get stuck in and maybe get a little muddy!

🧤 What to Bring:

• Please wear warm layers and sturdy, waterproof footwear – we’ll be working outdoors, whatever the weather
  
  

• We’ll provide all tools and equipment

This event is for women and non-binary people, and we are a proudly trans-inclusive organisation. Everyone is welcome – whether you’re coming with a friend or on your own, we look forward to meeting you!

This event is delivered by Bloom Sheffield and is part of their Winter Wellbeing Programme. This programme is a seasonal offering designed to support mental health, connection, and community during the colder, darker months. Through a mix of creative workshops, gentle outdoor activities, reflective gatherings, and social events, we create warm and welcoming spaces where people can slow down, connect with others, and find moments of calm. Sessions are offered on a pay-as-you-can basis, making them as accessible as possible, and all contributions go directly back into supporting Bloom Sheffield’s work with women across the city.
