Ceramic Plant Label Workshop

Join Bloom and ceramicist Clare Anderson for an evening of creativity!

In this two hour workshop you will use some smooth white stoneware clay to make some useful plant labels. You will have the opportunity to make these personal to you in the shape or design that you choose.

You will be guided step by step through the process so no previous experience is needed. Everything you need will be provided but you may want to bring a list of plant names that you would like to make labels for. 

Please be aware that working with clay can be messy so you may want to bring an apron. It is also best to have nails cut short to make it easier.

At the end of the workshop you will have learnt new skills and will have created several plant labels which should come in useful for spring sowing. You will not be limited on the number that you make, they do make lovely presents!

This event is delivered by Bloom Sheffield and is part of their Winter Wellbeing Programme. This programme is a seasonal offering designed to support mental health, connection, and community during the colder, darker months. Through a mix of creative workshops, gentle outdoor activities, reflective gatherings, and social events, we create warm and welcoming spaces where people can slow down, connect with others, and find moments of calm. Sessions are offered on a pay-as-you-can basis, making them as accessible as possible, and all contributions go directly back into supporting Bloom Sheffield’s work with women across the city.
