Bloom's Saplings - Outdoor Mum & Toddler Groups

An outdoor group for toddlers and pre-schoolers and their Mums.

Join us at Big Bloom, our community garden at Meersbrook and Heeley Allotments which is home to an orchard, woodland, planted beds and plenty of space to relax, explore and play. This is an outdoor group for toddlers and pre-schoolers and their adult, however, younger siblings are very welcome and will also benefit from the group. Please book a ticket for all children over the age of 12 months, sibling tickets are available at a discounted price.

Enjoy a child led learning environment in nature where you can embrace the outdoors in all seasons and all weathers. We have free play areas set up around the garden for you and your toddler to explore together including the mud kitchen, pond, cosy story corner, digging pit and calming sensory area to name but a few. Each session will also have varied activities influenced by the seasons, weather, stories and songs!

We will be running sessions on Thursday mornings and you can book tickets for a 7 week block or pick and mix dates.

Please note that all bookings (including pick and mix dates) will close before the block is due to start.

These sessions are run by Bloom Sheffield, a community flower garden for women and non-binary people. Spending time with other people outdoors is soul soothing. And that’s why we’re here: to provide a place where women and non-binary people can take care of their mental health and wellbeing, learn about flowers and gardening, and feel less isolated.
