Botanical Tile Imprint Workshop with Clare Anderson & Bloom Sheffield

Join Bloom's in house florist, Emma and ceramic artist Clare Anderson for a unique botanical tile workshop set within our Big Bloom Garden in Heeley and Meersbrook Allotment.

The experience begins with a guided walk through the garden, where Emma will share her knowledge of seasonal flowers and foliage and help you harvest a beautiful selection of botanical materials. Taking inspiration from the garden, you'll gather blooms, seed heads and foliage to use in your ceramic design.

Back in the workshop space, Clare will guide you through the process of arranging and pressing your gathered botanicals into clay, creating a beautiful, one-of-a-kind tile that captures the intricate textures and delicate details of nature.

Perfect for beginners and experienced makers alike, this creative and mindful workshop is a wonderful opportunity to connect with the garden, learn from two skilled craftspeople and create a lasting keepsake inspired by the season.

Once completed, your tile will be taken away by Clare to be professionally glazed and kiln-fired. Finished pieces will be available to collect from the Bloom Shop a few weeks later.

Please note: This workshop will take place outdoors in the garden, so we recommend dressing appropriately for the weather and wearing warm, comfortable clothing. In the event of particularly poor weather, the venue may be moved to an alternative sheltered location.

All materials are included, and no previous experience is necessary.
