Fuse Box: Devising Theatre

Fuse Box: Devising Theatre hosted by Blown Fuse (30 Jan)

Explore Blown Fuse’s collaborative approach to creating original performance. This practical workshop introduces devising methods rooted in collaboration, technology, ensemble work, physical storytelling and image-based creation. Participants will generate short pieces of new material and discover ways to turn impulses into bold theatrical choices.

Fuse Box is a six-week series of in-person theatre workshops for actors, writers, directors and creatives, delivered by Essex-based company Blown Fuse at Theatre Deli Leadenhall, London.

Across six Friday evenings, participants will explore devising, stage combat, playwright collaboration, community-engaged practice, performance beyond naturalism, and verbatim storytelling. Sessions are led by Blown Fuse and guest artists.

These workshops are designed for artists seeking to sharpen their craft, expand their creative toolkit and build meaningful industry connections. Whether you are an early-career theatre-maker or a more experienced artist refreshing your skills, Fuse Box offers a space to experiment, to collaborate, and to ignite new ideas.
