Liz Jones & Broken Windows
Six piece of original rootsy rock, blues and psychedelia!
Broken Windows, band of original rootsy and wild creations, take their mood from the genres of blues, folk-rock and psychedelia as a classic stage buzzing "live band". John Bruce (original guitarist with Blues'N'Trouble) is one of six internationally toured musicians who formed a group the natural way, in jam sessions in the Scottish capitol. Their front woman and songwriter quoted as having "a voice that could wake the dead" leads a band where every player is equal, with shows for lovers of rhythm, solos, musical personality and "not the same old sh*te"!. Recorded work grows new attention with latest album 'Double Measures' played on Radio 2, Radio Scotland, Jazz FM and Radio Caroline.
Corralling some of Scotland's best players, this six-piece have the talent to roam beyond the prescribed pentatonic box, ... with some winningly wonky gypsy-jazz.
Classic Rock Magazine
As nifty as it is exuberant, inebriated sway, a collectively textured double-measure slice of product.
