Bluegrass on the Lake welcomes The Barrel Boys for a special Christmas concert!

One of Canada's most celebrated acoustic string bands, The Barrel Boys bring together outstanding musicianship, rich vocal harmonies and an infectious love of bluegrass, old-time, country and Americana.

Formed in 2012, the Toronto-based group has performed at major folk and bluegrass festivals across Canada, including Mariposa Folk Festival and the Kluane Mountain Bluegrass Festival. Their album Mainline earned them a nomination for Vocal Group of the Year at the 2021 Canadian Folk Music Awards.

Known for gathering around a single microphone, The Barrel Boys create an intimate and engaging performance filled with exceptional instrumental playing, heartfelt songs and plenty of personality.

This December, they'll bring their signature sound to Bluegrass on the Lake for a festive evening of acoustic music, beautiful harmonies and Christmas cheer.

Full Swing brings together Niagara musicians Gail Hawkins, Denis LePage and Moe Juteau for a lively mix of bluegrass-flavoured swing music.

With a playful approach to familiar favourites and a few unexpected twists, the trio will open the evening with a festive set created especially for this event.

Doors open at 6:30 PM. Concert begins at 7:00 PM.
