Noah Gittell arrived in Cleveland in early 2025 and quickly carved out a place in the Forest City’s music scene. A singer-songwriter who cut his teeth in New York area clubs The Bitter End, Arlene's Grocery, and Maxwell’s, he has since become a headliner at Spotlight Cleveland, Dunlap’s Corner Bar, Brothers Lounge, Headquarters, Smedley’s Bar & Grille, and other local favorites. In addition to his solo act, he is also the frontman of When September Ends, Cleveland's premier semi-acoustic Green Day cover band that is currently holding down a residency at Forest City Brewery.
Blending emotional clarity with sharp lyricism, Noah writes songs shaped by the places and people that move him. Influenced by Tom Petty, Ray LaMontagne, and Paul McCartney, he shifts easily between wry storytelling and heartfelt confession. His catalog ranges from cheeky (“What’ll I Do When the Drugs Don’t Work”) to romantic (“I’ll Be Your Tree”) to darkly witty (“Happy Death Day”). He’s also earned a reputation for unexpected acoustic covers, from Ace of Base’s “The Sign” to a raucous “Rosalita (Come Out Tonight).”
Over the last twelve months, Noah has released four albums of original music—Mezzanine, River Rain, Woodbury, and Vol. 1. With more than five hours of material at the ready, he tailors each set to the room, offering a seamless and engaging mix of originals and reinterpretations that tells the story of a person, a place, and a time.
