Rob McNurlin is an acclaimed Kentucky-born singer-songwriter, musician, and performer

documentary film, “From the Cowboy's Boot Heel: The Musical Journey of Rob McNurlin.”
The film, which takes its name from one of his original songs, has been celebrated at
international events like the Eutopia Arthouse Film Festival in Belfast, Northern Ireland,
where it won the prize for Best Musical Film. The documentary explores his Appalachian
roots, his eclectic artistic life, and his influence on younger generations of musicians,
