Top Gun Outdoor Cinema Evening at Blue Tin

Welcome to the inaugural Ipsden Outdoor Cinema evening here at Blue Tin. 

Please note this is NOT a drive in and it is essential to bring your own chairs!

The film will be showing on the event field at the top of the hill adjacent to the Blue Tin driveway. Parking will also be in the event field NOT at Blue Tin itself. 

BYO deckchairs, food and drink or just rock up empty handed straight from the office and enjoy hot food supplied by The Bowler with a licensed bar on site too.

Gates open from 7pm with the screening at 9/9.15pm (sunset).

Booking your tickets 

• Please take note of the film certification (12+) when purchasing tickets. The film certification is strictly enforced at Ticket Check. ID will be required for those patrons who look under the age of the film certification. 
• Tickets can only be booked online in advance of the events, please make sure you have booked tickets and have your tickets with you before you arrive to avoid disappointment. 

Entry to Site 

• As you arrive at the entrance of your site please have either your printed tickets or mobile tickets ready.
• Please bear in mind that it can turn chilly as night falls so remember to bring warm clothing/blankets with you. 
• Please note that for your safety we may conduct random bag searches on entry. 

Parking & Transport

• We only have a limited amount of parking on site and these spaces can be booked on a first come first served basis.
• Parking is in the event field itself and NOT at Blue Tin.
• It will not be possible to leave your car on site overnight.
• If you are arriving or leaving by taxi, please use the postcode for Blue tin which is OX106QU but do explain that the pick up is on the lane NOT at Blue Tin itself.

Food and Drink 

• The Blue Tin Bar will be open and serving a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks.
• Hot food will be available to purchase from the brilliant The Bowler Food Truck. 
• You are more than welcome to bring your own picnic to our events but please note that glass is not permitted on site.
• Any alcoholic drinks purchased on site must be consumed before you leave the site.

Toilets 

• There will be toilets located onsite - Hand sanitiser stations will be positioned outside the toilets (as well as inside) so please sanitise your hands both before and after entering. The toilets are regularly cleaned and inspected.

  
  

Medics/Assistance 

• If you require assistance or have any questions just ask one of our staff in Hi-vis. 
• We have medics on-site, should you or anyone in your party feel unwell or need medical assistance alert one of our staff in Hi-vis.

Leaving the Event 

• Please help us to protect the environment and prevent the spread of Covid-19 by taking your rubbish home with you. 

  
  

Weather 

• In the event of very bad weather (lightning, heavy rain and/or extremely high winds),  we reserve the right to postpone the event and will offer a direct transfer of tickets to an alternative date - but assuming the event goes ahead please do check the forecast and come prepared.
• No umbrellas are permitted during the screenings as they can obstruct the view of others. 

  
  

Other Housekeeping 

• It is recommended that you bring a torch to assist you to the toilets etc. 
• No naked flames, BBQ’s, gas stoves or candles. 
• No tents, gazebos, parasols, umbrellas, or pop-up structures. 
• No dogs or pets (except guide dogs). 
• Glass is not permitted onsite.  Please ensure that all drinks are consumed from plastic drinkware. 
• If you wish to smoke, including e-cigarettes, you need to leave the arena, you will be readmitted afterwards, and please be courteous of other audience members.
• Please note Blue Tin cannot be held liable or responsible for any damage to vehicles or personnel possessions whilst attending any of our events.
