One evening before December gets loud.

Join ceramicist Beth Lloyd-Wright and calligrapher Tianna Ellis of Tia Ellis Designs for a guided, unhurried evening of clay, lettering and good company.

With Beth, you'll shape your own Christmas tree decorations from air-dry clay. With Tianna, you'll learn the basics of calligraphy: how to hold the pen, how each letter is built and how to slow down enough to enjoy it. Then you'll letter your own name cards for the Christmas table.

Small, warm and completely beginner-friendly. No experience needed and absolutely no pressure to be "good" at it. Everything goes home with you the same night.

Your ticket includes mulled wine, mince pies and all your materials, including everything you take home.

Tianna has been practising calligraphy and lettering for eight years. What began as a personal hobby and a creative outlet has grown into Tia Ellis Designs, creating bespoke calligraphy for weddings and events. She'll show you how slowing down and focusing on each stroke can bring a moment of calm into a busy life.
