Luz, a young artist from Barrio Logan, dreams of painting a mural in historic Chicano Park—but self-doubt clouds her vision. As she struggles to find her voice, Luz is guided by her family’s encouragement and the powerful stories of her community. Through a magical journey across time, she meets two iconic figures—astronaut Ellen Ochoa and labor leader Dolores Huerta—whose courage and achievements help Luz rediscover her own strength and purpose.

This special staged reading offers a first look at ¡Sí Se Puede!, a vibrant new work in development by playwright Kayla Adorno. Audiences are invited to stay for a post-show feedback session with the playwright and cast, helping shape the next stages of this inspiring story
