The Power of Compassion ~ Avalokiteshvara Empowerment
with Gen Kelsang Jigme | Weekend Event 13th–15th November
An empowerment is a blissful guided meditation through which we receive a particular Buddha’s inspiring blessings. Buddha Avalokiteshvara is the embodiment of the compassion of all the enlightened beings. By receiving his powerful blessings in this special empowerment ceremony and relying on him sincerely, we can heal our own negativities and suffering, increase and deepen the power of our good heart, and finally accomplish the supreme happiness of enlightenment. We will then have the power to liberate all living beings from their suffering.
There is no greater meaning than this.This blessing empowerment is a beautiful guided meditation during which we will receive the blessings of Buddha Avalokiteshvara, to dispel our obstacles and improve our wisdom and compassion.
In the afternoon, Gen Jigme will give essential commentary to the practice of relying on Avalokiteshvara. Everyone is welcome.*The Empowerment is in person only.
You can attend on Saturday just to receive the empowerment, or for the whole weekend to receive the commentary and gain experience of this essential practice.
*The Empowerment will be held is in person only, no online streaming for the empowerment
