HOOK - BBees (newborn - pre-walkers) - Feb/March - 11:10

Come along to BBees at Boogie Bugs - the sessions are designed specifically with small babies in mind. So they're not super loud or busy. It's just me sat on the floor in front of the little ones singing to them with a speaker on quietly in the background. Every fun session has a theme in which we use the magic of music to enable the babies to begin to learn and recognise popular and bespoke songs. 

The music and props help the babies to develop key skills including confidence, coordination, balance, rhythm, memory, imagination, fine motor and many more! The babies that are older mostly enjoy sitting in their grown-up's laps or sitting on the mats watching me, my puppets and the lights I use. Once they start crawling they have the freedom to explore and learn in a safe environment.

I use fun songs, wow-puppets, props, instruments, bespoke sensory aids, lights and bubbles to engage the babies. I also try to build in lots of opportunities for baby bonding time through touch, song and togetherness. 

Baby, parent and carer wellbeing is very important to us and is reflected in each class.

When your babies are very little I encourage lying them on their back so that they can see you and make lots of eye contact.

Beyond that, the grown-ups who currently attend BBees are unbelievably nice so you'd be in good company! Make new friends and join in the fun at one of our welcoming classes!

*Please be reminded that BBees at Boogie Bugs is for newborns up to approximately 18 months only (pre-walkers)*

Parents/Carers are responsible for supervising all children within their care during each class, this is not the role of the class leader running the sessions.
