Fable in the Follies returns for 2026 — a relaxed afternoon of exploration, discovery, and quiet wonder set amongst enchanting woodland, curious structures, hidden caves, scenic viewpoints, and mystical towers overlooking the realm.

There is no set path — only what you choose to discover.

And for those brave enough… the magic continues after dusk.

10:00 Arrival for Camping | Limited Availability

For those wishing to experience the Follies beyond dusk, a limited number of guests are invited to remain within the grounds.

Includes everything in the Day Ticket, plus:

• Exclusive camping within a private woodland glade
• Escorted sunset access to Grotto Hill
• Storytelling, music, and relaxed camp games
• Stargazing and a slower after-dark atmosphere

Not all who wander leave at dusk…

🏕️ Overnight Camping Information

• Guests must bring their own camping equipment
• Arrival for campers is between 10:00am – 11:30am
• Toilets are available overnight (approx. 5 minute walk)
• Further camping details will be sent ahead of the event

⚠️ Accessibility Information (Please Read Before Booking)

Due to the natural terrain of Hawkstone Park Follies, this event may not be suitable for guests with mobility difficulties.

The experience involves:

• Steep hills and inclines
• Uneven woodland pathways
• Steps and natural ground terrain
• Extended periods of walking

Unfortunately, this event is not suitable for wheelchair users.

A park ranger will be available to assist by driving guests to key areas where possible, however some parts of the park will remain inaccessible.

• This is a relaxed, lightly immersive experience with no fixed storyline or schedule
• Fancy dress is encouraged but completely optional
• The event takes place outdoors, so please dress for the weather
• Overnight tickets are limited

🚗 Travel & Transport

Hawkstone Park Follies is most easily accessed by car, with free parking available on-site.

The nearest train station is Shrewsbury (approx. 20–25 minutes away by taxi).

We will also be encouraging lift sharing between guests and may organise a return minibus from Shrewsbury if there is enough interest.
