Work Independently on your own projects in our shared workspace

Boomerang Woodworking is open every Tuesday evening for Open Bench Club!

Tuesday Open Bench Club is a chance to come and use our workshop, tools and machinery in a shared and welcoming space to work on your own projects with the support and guidance of supervisors to help you along the way!

These evenings are perfect for people looking to work independently on a small making, restoring or upcycling project who need access to workbench space and tools.

If you want more information on the sessions or want to discuss if this is the right option for your project, feel free to get in touch

How It Works

Induction: If it is your first time, we will induct you on the machines relevant to your project.

Get creating!: Our workshop has a large shared bench with space for up to 6 people. You are welcome to use hand tools, power tools and some machines (after induction) to work on your project.

Beginner? please book our Beginners Open Bench Club (coming soon in April) if you are new to woodworking, here you will have supervision and guidance at all times from our staff & volunteers as well as skill-building projects to help you get up to speed.

When? Open Bench Club will be (almost) every Tuesday evening. Dates are available at checkout. The workshop will close at 9pm, allowing time for cleaning up and packing away your projects.

Regular Attendee? Get a discount by booking 4 or more sessions with code: chisel.
