Every critter enjoys a romp and explore, so we have planned an outing to Cameron Park Zoo! Cameron Park Zoo is a 52-acre natural habitat zoo that is AZA accredited with over 1700 animals and a diversity of 300 species that are nurtured within. It is also within the larger Cameron Park in Waco, TX which holds many trails, a natural spring, several playgrounds and sitting spots with scenic overlooks looking out to the Brazos River.

We hope that this outing will encourage some of our HoT family to come out and spend a day together at Cameron Park.

For our family in Austin and its surrounding areas, our officers and members will be giving rides to and back. We will meet at IKEA in Round Rock at 9:30 AM and leave promptly at 10 AM. If you need a ride, please let us know through this checkout form. If you choose to not rideshare, be at the gate of Cameron Park Zoo by 12:00 PM.

The Cameron Park Zoo encourages costumes, so hoods are acceptable to carry and wear. Besides that, be street and family friendly. we'll see if we can't take a picture at the Suspension Bridge after our lap around the exhibits!

A lap around the habitats takes roughly 2 hours, so we'll also take some time to enjoy Cameron Park right next to it, whether it's to play disc golf or just hike its main trail and get some food altogether around 5 PM.
