Beaver Enclosure Tour - Afternoon
Join us for a tour through our 200ha beaver enclosure – the largest in England. Venturing through the beaver’s wetland world, you’ll see signs of their activity such as tree felling, damming, lodge building, debarking and digging. You may even spot some other wildlife benefitting from their efforts. Your guide will share with you a brief history of beavers in the UK, their behaviours, and why they were reintroduced to Boothby Wildland.
Please note: We are deliberately avoiding dawn and dusk, when beavers are most active, to protect their welfare as they settle in.
Please also note: our tours cover 2-3 miles of wildland following a route that maybe be uneven, muddy and tough to navigate in parts. Guests will need a reasonable level of fitness and be able to cope with uneven ground. Wellies are essential, or reliable walking boots with waterproof trousers.
Read our T&Cs here: Website T&Cs & Privacy — Nattergal. Guests must be over 7. If you'd like to bring younger guests please consider our family-friendly events.
